Did you know Hass Avocados do not begin ripening until they are picked off the tree?

Our avocados are hand picked, packed and shipped within 24 hours and are green and firm. These avocados will take an additional 4 to 15 days to completely ripen.

Once you receive your avocado box, open them immediately and let the avocados ripen on your kitchen counter.

Here are some suggestions to fasten the ripening process:

1. Place the desired number of avocados in a brown bag along with an apple or banana -(the ethylene produced by the apple/banana helps with the avocado ripening).
2. Check the avocados every day for firmness in the brown bag
3. When the avocado gives a bit on touch the fruit is few hours away from fully ripe stage
4. Remove the ripened avocados and enjoy them in your recipes

The ripened avocados can be refrigerated for a day or two.

We ship to ALL cities in Contiguous United States (lower 48 states in North America, including the District of Columbia). We ship on Mondays and Tuesdays. Orders placed on Sunday and Monday are shipped the next day. Orders placed Tuesday through Saturday are shipped the following week. We reserve the right to advance or delay the shipment to avoid long shipping delays due to holidays, weekends and/or unforeseen situations.

At SGG Farms we firmly believe our avocados are among the best. In case you are not happy with the avocados received, you can contact us at returns@sggfarms.com providing

1. order date and order number (found in your email confirmation)
2. pictures of the avocados and packaging, and
3. the reason for the refund request.

At our discretion we will ship you another box or provide a refund to make things right. We reserve the right to decline refund requests received after 10 days of confirmed delivery.
