We're driven by our commitment to growing using sustainable organic practices and without any pesticides

We believe in the importance of soil rejuvenation for improved plant health and soil microbiome diversity. We intensively practice wood chip mulching and compost applications for water conservation, plant nutrition and increased climate resiliency.

We believe in ecological biodiversity....

We intently practice no and low till, multi-crop cultivation of subtropical fruits and vegetables to provide a year around habitat for various pollinators, birds and food for soil microbiome.

We are working on creating a growing space for year around food production...

With emphasis on high density orchard planting, multi-tier crop planting, for a diversified production resulting in reduced irrigation water needs, improved soil porosity, and plant vigor. The early results are encouraging for us to continue trying more combination of produce we love to grow (and eat!).

About the Grower

Nice to Meet You

In 2014 this accidental farmer stumbled upon an old farm, the avocado trees were tall and the orchard had an idyllic park-like setting. This girl fell in love with the beautiful piece of land, and jumped head first without any prior growing experience. Fast forward a few years... the farm is slowly beginning to look beautiful again with the incremental crop diversification efforts -- planting new avocados, guavas, cherimoyas and other tropical & temperate fruits enjoyed during holiday trips.

Over the years we transitioned the farm to be Certified Organic, and adopted several practices to make the farm climate resilient and drought tolerant, and this aspect of work is ever expanding as we continually learn and incorporate "unconventional" or perhaps rightly the back-to-roots fringe growing ethos of farming the soil rather than the trees.

As we explore building this website to share the farm story and organic produce grown, I would like to take a moment to thank you for visiting the website and considering supporting the farm with one of our Seasonal Produce Box purchases today.

You can read more about the ongoing farm work, successes and failures below. Or check out the farm's produce box options available for purchase in our online shop.

Sincerely,

Priya
